Hi Kim,
I stumbled across your site today and love your cabinets! Do you mind telling me what color you used? We are about to redo our 1970's kitchen and I love yours!!!
Thanks so much,
~S.
S., This may be the most asked question I receive in my emailbox:) There is just something about red! The red paint color is from the Waverly line and it's called "Cherry"
in the satin finish. The off white interior and basecoat color (also a satin finish) is
called "Homestead Resort Parlor Taupe". At one time, it was part of the "American Tradition" line of paint but I believe it is now called "Valspar". I bought both these paint colors from Lowes.

I found your blog a LONG time ago (you were in the middle of working on your kitchen, maybe?) and even then you were constantly getting asked about what red you used. I wonder if you'll tire of being asked? Your blog served as much inspiration for my kitchen remodel.
Hey! Thank you for the color.
I love red, but it needs to be this barn-ish, darker, richer, brown-ier, red. You've donea great job. Paint holding up? Any chipping on the finish? (I love chipping.) I love to keep looking at your kitchen. Ever considered more photos? :)
Oh my gracious! My wife and I bought our "needs some love" single wide last year and are starting to get to work on it. You have my kitchen! I have been talking about red uppers and antique white lowers with tan concrete countertops and wood for our auxiliary counter. Thanks for doing this! I can see with my mind's eye, but my better half struggles!
